Melissa Fish, Esq.
Corporate/M&A Attorney
Melissa Fish is the managing attorney of Fish Legal Counsel, a boutique M&A and corporate law practice advising founder-led and growth-focused companies on acquisitions, ownership transitions, and complex business transactions.
She began her legal career as a corporate associate at K&L Gates LLP in Century City, where she represented public and private companies in sophisticated transactional matters before launching her own practice.
Melissa now serves as outside general counsel and dedicated M&A deal counsel to emerging and middle-market businesses, supporting transactions typically ranging from $1M to $20M+.
Her work focuses on disciplined deal structure, risk allocation, and efficient execution across each stage of a transaction.
Earlier in her career, Melissa served as an Honors Intern with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission and as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
